Protective covenants exist to protect the character
of the neighborhood and thereby maintain property values. Protective
covenants "run with the land," i.e., they are attached to the property just
as a deed is part of the property. Each property owner in PRORA should have
received a copy of the covenant attached to that property. In accepting
ownership of the property, the buyer has accepted the covenant and has
agreed to abide by them.
Covenants are available from the links below. These are scanned from original paper documents in Adobe "PDF" format. If you do not have Adobe Reader, you can get it free at the Adobe web site www.Adobe.com. PLEASE contact your Architectural Control Committee (ACC) before you plan any changes to your property (e.g.. additions, walls, sheds, etc.) -- see map and ACC points of contact on PRORA Home Page.
